Fatbardha Selmani

Dear reader,

My name is Farbardha Selmani, I’m 22 years old, and a law student at the Radboud University. This year I have the honour to be a party member of the most accesible and pleasant studentparty of Nijmegen: AKKUraatd. Besides being a student and party member, I can also call myself chairwoman of the XXIst University Student Council.

In my opinion the students of the Radboud University are very lucky. However, I still think there is plenty of room for improvement. I am going to dedicate myself to this. A good educational climate, a dynamic but healthy student life, and a sustainable University are therefore my main points. Student life is supposed to be the greatest time of your life but the welfare questionnaire of the RU showed that one in five student experiences too much stress. The charting of these facts is only the first step and now it is important that we look at what we can mean for these students.

I also think that the Radboud University made steps toward being a sustainable University but we are not there yet. Together with AKKUraatd and the other council members of the USC we will continue working towards that. I have faith in our University becoming a lot greener next year!
