#5 Cilla Westerhuis
Ik ben Cilla Westerhuis, 20 jaar en ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Schalkhaar, een klein dorpje naast Deventer. Ondertussen heb ik nu anderhalf jaar mijn plekje gevonden in Nijmegen. Ik ben tweedejaars student Pedagogische Wetenschappen en ik ben dit jaar de secretaris en vicevoorzitter van Studievereniging Postelein. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik veel te vinden met mijn vrienden op het terras of bij een ticket uurtje op het sportcentrum, en hou ik van spelletjes spelen. Sinds dit jaar ben ik ook te vinden achter de balie van het STIP van Sociale Wetenschappen.
Ik sluit mij komend jaar graag aan bij AKKUraatd omdat ik van mening ben dat een verbetering van het hoger onderwijs niet zonder de mening van anderen kan, oftewel een sterke medezeggenschap. Mijn doel is mensen zich fijn laten voelen in een bepaalde omgeving, waar ze vragen kunnen stellen, ondersteuning kunnen krijgen bij hun studie en naast studeren ook een studentenleven hebben.
Hey! My name is Cilla Westerhuis, 20 years old and I am originally from Schalkhaar, a small village near Deventer. For the past year and a half I have been busy finding my place in Nijmegen in which I can tell I have succeeded. Currently I am a second-year student of Educational Sciences and this year I am the secretary and vice-chairman of the study association Postelein. I like to spend my free time with my friends having drinks or playing games. As well I like to spend my free time in the sportcenter to workout. Since the past February You can also find me at the counter of the STIP of the Social Sciences faculty.
It’s an honour and a privilege to introduce myself as number 5 on the AKKUraadt list. I joined AKKUraadt because I think that improvement in higher education is to be reached only be done with genuine opinions of others, in other words: a strong participation of all of those involved. My goal is to make people feel comfortable in their specific environment, to create an environment where they can ask questions, get support where they need it and have the ability to live the life that goes hand in hand with their education at Radboud University.
